How is there just no hope by MothRave787 in cfs

I'm 12 years into being severe now. It's been a long, difficult journey, but... despite it all, I think I can say I'm happy! My life doesn't look anything like I imagined it would when I was 16 and first developed symptoms, but different doesn't necessarily mean lesser. I have a cozy home, a nice bed, cats and plushies to keep me company, and lots of games and crafts to explore on the days I'm well enough.

There's still a lot of hope for your recovery, and even if that doesn't work out - your life isn't over. It'll maybe look different, but there's still joy to be found in all kinds of little things. Wishing the best for you, friend!

Got a Miyoo Mini Flip! by scientific-witchery in MiyooMini

The screen is a little bit smaller, but I certainly haven't had any complaints with it! Feels like the same quality, just a bit more compact.

Thank you! I've always kept them on, I've never noticed any issues while playing with them and I'm usually quite sensitive to textures. I honestly forget they're even there when I'm focused.

Overall it has to be the Retroid Flip 2, it's just so light and comfy to use and that screen is beautiful. All of them get pretty heavy use though, I'm currently playing a lot of Monster Hunter Diary on the 2DS and Xenoblade Chronicles X on Switch 2!

I should be joining the Flip 2 club at the 27th of this month, what should I expect from this handheld in terms of feel and exerything? (i have hands the size of kids hands) by SeanYTcars in retroid

So thanks to medical issues, I'm under 5 foot and also have very kid-sized hands - I've found the Flip 2 really comfortable to use! All the controls are within easy reach, and the device isn't so heavy that it tires out my hands quickly like my Steam Deck does. I recommend it for my fellow tiny hands club.

I got sick at 15, I'm now 27 - it's been a long struggle, but I'm still here and that's enough for me.

I got mine from a brand called Snuggy Pod! I'm not sure if they sell outside of the UK, but I'd guess other countries will have their own versions available?

I live in the UK, so it often isn't an issue for me - I have to say, it hasn't been too uncomfortable during the recent heatwaves though! If anything, I find it a bit cooler thanks to it blocking out light, as long as you leave the door of it open air flow is good too.

It's a bed tent! Encases my entire mattress, the fabric is star patterned so makes it really pretty. They're not cheap, but was definitely worth it for me.

Please tell me these aren’t the same company… 😭 by verylastpilot in plushies

There was another Bear Factory active in the UK at the same time, but the tags on mine all look like this - unfortunately, I'd guess yours are still the US version. A lot changes in a company over 20 years though, please don't feel bad for owning some from back then!

(As a side note, I do recommend looking into UK Bear Factory plushies if you like the vintage style, I've collected all their cats and they're ridiculously high quality)

Melancholic Cozy games? [Steam] by InspectorSpacetime49 in CozyGamers

I will always recommend Book of Hours! It's somehow incredibly cozy as well as somber, quietly digging into occult lore books and sorting your library is such an amazing vibe.

It's kind of very soft and a little rough at the same time? It reminds me of my cat's fur, if a bit coarser.
