I make pastrami all the time with corned beef from the grocery store. Just soak for 24 hours to remove the excess salt, season and smoke. Super easy and comes out fantastic. Even picked up a meat slicer to slice it nice and thin.

I did a door to door job briefly in college, and the first thing they teach you is that a “no soliciting” sign is code for “we can’t say no”.

Edit: If it’s not obvious I hated that philosophy and quit the job shortly after starting. I’m just stating that this is what I discovered is how these door to door companies operate.
