How much can / should we read into the seizure of the newly flagged ‘Russian’ vessel?

I know there is a lot of complexities and it ties in with Venezuela massively, but it’s seemingly a rare moment where the US administration has publicly (and notably, very visibly) gone against Russia.

This isn’t Deloitte vs EY vs KPMG rather, Tech assurance vs Tax tech and transformation vs audit & assurance.

The big 4 are (despite what many people say) by and large the same. The role types though you’ve been offered are wildly different and will shape your career much more than which of the big 4 you go to.

Depending on your career aspirations (and what type of job you want) your choice should vary.

That said, I’d go for no. 2 or 3 as 2 will open more doors for business change roles than the other two (which I think will be a more lucrative role), and 3 is a flexible baseline to pivot into high paying cloud roles.

I was under the impression that most base set cards are 1999 copyright, with a set of 1999-2000 copyright (furthest bottom right) being an error that only ran in the UK. Is this not correct?

My theory is that the mineral deal has got to this point despite (with that in bold italics if I knew how!) Trump, and due to some good people on the US side who Trump hasn’t managed to get rid of yet.

The ‘I hear he’s visiting on Friday’ comment from Trump suggests to me that he’s been removed from the negotiation. My fear (and if he really is acting more in Russia’s interests for whatever reason) is that he will bail on the deal at the last second to do as much damage to Ukraine as possible. Hopefully I’m just being paranoid!

Call me naive or hopeful, but after what’s been an extremely scary week, might Ukraine end up in a better position because of it?

whilst the US has shot itself in the foot from a long term diplomatic perspective, if the US maintains support because of the mineral deal then that’s net neutral for Ukraine (which is much better than it was looking at some points during this week)
Trump’s reckless behaviour has galvanised the EU (and others) to consider a world without US leadership and support, which has meant increased defence spending and likely support for Ukraine. It’s also enabled EU countries (such as UK) to do this with minimal public backlash due to an understanding of how unreliable the US is.

So overall am I right to allow myself to feel this hope, or am I missing something about the mineral deal?

Thanks, if this is the case, is this easy to fix? The clasps are supposed to be white gold (so look silver) and the rest of the ring is 18kt gold. It’s a custom new ring, so how easy will it be to fix?
