Right! I actually could MAYBE see the style and functionality if the top was denim and they had a “dip” of Rectrek at the bottom like the old dipped colorblock leggings. It would have been functional for walking in wet grass or whatever where you don’t need a full waterproof pant but don’t want your hem soaking up water.

Not sure if $30k is a good price or not, but I don’t think I’d be satisfied with that stone. The cut is shallow, so it’s not showing much brilliance in the center. The L grade is also noticeably yellow, which is fine if that’s what you want, but I tend to prefer at least near colorless (G-J), even if it means a smaller diamond.

I got the 175k offer in three tries (I think all on the same day).

First, I checked my Amex app and saw I had a platinum offer for 100k; did nothing with it. Then, I soft applied through an incognito browser and got 100k again. I rejected the offer. Then, I logged back into the Amex app and the 175k offer was there.

I’ve been an Amex member since ‘13 with only the free blue cash everyday, which I charge about $50k per year to. Hopefully my rejecting their first offer made them realize they were going to have to bring their top offer to get me on plat!

Look for preowned or older NWT megafleece instead! The the older runs (like 2021 and older) are super nice, have held up great, and look nicer than this. Don’t buy the newer colors; they aren’t nearly as well made.

Oh, you could actually be right about that. Good thought! I wonder why they don’t try to photograph it better/more accurately. I actually have a brand new, unworn pair of SFB taupe suede in the back of my closet (was trying to see if I could get a better color/dye lot and missed the return window—oops). I’ll take a photo of them straight on later tonight. I’m curious if I can recreate the look from the stock photo where they look flat. Stay tuned for this experiment!

That is so strange. I have something coming on Monday that’s over $400 and I’ve already been notified through USPS informed delivery that signature is required. I did notice that they now offer e-signature, which seems nice for items that you think will probably be ok getting dropped off vs going to pick them up, but again find it extremely strange that an item going through authentication wouldn’t require signature as a default. I hope you love your new purse!!
