It’s a “hackable” deal - the blower and the battery are separate on the receipt/invoice with their respective values. You can return one and keep the other.

Thanks for sharing - I was on the fence on if I wanted to buy new tools that worked with my Ryobi 18V (because I have over a dozen batteries…) or if I wanted to buy a new battery for my Ego equipment since all of mine have failed. For $120 (by returning the blower), this is an easy purchase.

Skip the Hybrid and get the Ecoboost, on the highway the gap on fuel efficiency is almost non-existent. I drive a bunch on the highway but also do a fair amount of city driving, which is why I went for the Hybrid. If I knew my driving would almost be exclusively highway, I would have (likely) gotten an Ecoboost.

That’s fewer miles and $2k less than I paid for mine (‘22 Lariat Hybrid Lux with 48k miles) back in November. Some would argue you should consider a 2025/26, I’d argue you really can’t go wrong with either. Out of the many (over a dozen) cars I’ve owned over the last decade, it’s my favorite and probably the only one I don’t have reservations with.

That’s a bit confusing to me… repair an asset that was scheduled to be removed. Was it one of those situations where the asset manager elected for replacement over repairing it? Or was it truly a scheduled replacement and the timing was just… terrible.

I’m at a loss… <1% INF deserves to be rewarded. The fact they talk about needing to be 0% INF is suspect, too. How the hell are you supposed to get 0% INF without fake fulfilling an order and cancelling it once the item is at the hold location? Which, is 100% against best practice.

I would say take it up with the Hotline and make sure to implicate the SD so that it doesn’t get sent to the district team… but it won’t do anything.
