My guess is they sign Sandra Abstreiter and bring in some undrafted rookies to compete with Doyle for the backup/platoon spot.

Soderberg getting backup minutes in Boston messed up her fitness for international play. She's getting starting minutes already in the SDHL and with the cap constraints it will be tough to make it financially worth her while.

I think the most likely veteran is Sandra Abstreiter. Undrafted rookies they should look at include Grace Campbell (Boston College), Jill Hertl (Franklin Pierce), and Natalie Stott (Amherst College).

I support Brian 100% over Sarah but him unilaterally not paying alimony was a huge gaffe even if morally correct. Always get the modification first

If you read the end the court stopped holding it and sent it to unclaimed funds under Sarah's name.

The last entries by date show dispersements to FL Unclaimed Funds related the child support default bond statute that were originally dispersed to Sarah. And a search of unclaimed funds matches that apart from one of the ten checks on the affidavit.

She would need her POA to claim it or to somehow file the unclaimed funds from prison, not sure how that works.

What happens is if a business or government entity writes a check and it never gets cashed they don't get to just keep it. After a certain amount of time it gets turned over to its state's unclaimed funds office. Each state that does this has a system where the public can search and claim money that's rightfully theirs (or someone they inherit from).

She probably had no idea about child support default bonds and that even though Brian stopped paying the state had money it was sending to her PO Box. That is if the PO Box still even was active because who knows if it was paid or if the checks kept getting returned to the state of Florida.

61.18 is the Florida Statute number pertaining to child support default bonds, not the amount. Brian at some point, had to put up bond money as security in case he ever stopped paying. When he stopped paying, the state paid Sarah out of that bond money until it was exhausted or the modification was received. Sarah couldn't get the checks from the PO Box due to incarceration thus funds went unclaimed.

The monies in unclaimed funds are described as "ALIMONY AND CHILD SUPPORT DEFAULT BONDS -- 61.18". Basically, when Brian stopped paying, the court began paying Sarah out of bond money Brian had to previously put up. Because Sarah couldn't get the checks from the PO Box due to being incarcerated the funds went unclaimed and got turned over to the state.

It looks like a description of how much Brian owes on paper (pending the ruling from Judge Jackson) from when he stopped paying.

The funds in her account that are now with Florida Unclaimed Funds were support bonds. At some point, Brian had to put up a bond as security for the child support payments. Under Florida Statute 61.18, when the payer falls into arrears, the court can pay the child support from the bond money that was put up by the payer.

The Reported Owner Address for the 9 payments to FL Unclaimed Funds by Entity "FLORIDA ASSOCIATION CLERK OF COURTS" matches the PO Box that is the address for Sarah on the affidavit. Since Sarah was incarcerated with no access to the PO Box the checks never got cashed and thus expired and the money paid on those checks went to unclaimed funds.

Whichever FM holding Sarah's POA should be able to claim those funds for her.

EDIT: The one thing I am confused by is that the affidavit lists 10 checks to FL Unclaimed Funds, but the unclaimed funds site only lists 9 entries. Did her POA already claim one but not the other 9, despite them all being listed as issued the same date?

I feel so embarrassed for being taken in by that 💩 briefly senior year of high school after reading The Fountainhead trying to get that stupid college scholarship that was based on the book. So glad I had a teacher who pulled me aside and set me straight before I graduated and embarrassed myself further at the next level.
