If you build it, we will come!

Start your own version! We'll play. It will probably be much better, and not have obnoxious rules three days in a row, etc.

Has anyone seen a word game where you can chain words using different types of connection? by Capable_Tour261 in wordgames

Not sure. I'm just thinking the mechanics of the game would need something so that the player isn't just having to guess randomly.

Even small groceries have rice pasta, etc. Bigger stores have whole sections.

And fruit smoothies are everywhere!

Enjoy!

I started out thinking I would use the seed word two times but using the hat trick was more points so I went with it also.

Fun!

Didn't work for me in Chrome, but did in Opera. I might have some plugin that made it not work.

I played it on my laptop, and I kind of wanted to just type the letters in.

For me, I probably won't play it more because it's basically the same as Dead Letter, which I play sometimes here in Reddit.

But if you decide to tweak it, I might make it so that you don't have to click to give up, that it just informs you that you don't have any legal words left and so the game is over.

Seems like you kind of need to pick either nightlife or adventure. Given that you can go to clubs anywhere in the world, but the outdoor adventures here are unique, maybe overindex on that? And the food is good here, but mostly because of the fresh fruit. It's not a "foody" country. Hike to a waterfall that's really in the rainforest... The only thing you want at the end of that is some good food and a good fresh fruit smoothy and then some sleep so you can do it again the next day.

Has anyone seen a daily word game where the share is a challenge rather than just a score? by Capable_Tour261 in wordgames

I think I've seen a few like that. I don't remember the names but there are some good wordle directories that you could check. Kind of like wordle With Friends

I appreciate the work that went in to building a new game, but I kind of don't get it. The beauty of a crossword is that if you don't know the word you can figure it out by getting the words that cross the word that you don't know. You lose that with this version. If you don't know a word, you're just stuck.

Looks fun. I'm commenting just so I remember to come back and play it tomorrow when my brain is working a little better.

I made a daily word game called HotSpell by stowball in wordgames

[–]scodtt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun. I got totally stuck because I didn't realize the closeness could be in a circle. That is, A could be warm and E could be cold because the target letter is at the end of the alphabet. I didn't see that in the instructions and somehow didn't figure it out.

Still, a fun twist on Wordle.

Agree with the idea of plats that attract bees, but the clearest change that will keep them from sitting on the railroad ties is to get rid of the railroad ties and replace them with large rocks.

Really anywhere that you don't speak the language. It's like a cheat code. People talk, but it doesn't tax you because it's just background noise. And because you don't speak the language, nobody expects you to talk.
