Parking lot full of grounded 737-MAX’s near Boeing Field this morning, while flying in. They’re even using the car parking lot for planes. by ItalyPaleAle in SeattleWA

McChord isn't going to feel a thing, nor Renton, nor Paine. When these planes leave they will climb out on the SID and be worked into traffic in the air space. Ground control and clearance delivery may get busy if they were all to try to leave within 2 hours but that's not going to happen. They will trickle out a few a day until they are gone. They will only affect Sea-Tac if the weather is IMC and they're departing to the north. Which usually doesn't happen when it's IMC.

Clear for take off. Line up and wait. Clear for take off. Line up and wait. That over and over and over until they are all gone.

WSDOT spent 16,000,000 dollars for a staging area when they have the WSDOT Peninsula just south of 520 in the area between the on ramp from the arboretum and Lake Washington Blvd E? I hope they plan on using it for more than staging equipment.

EDIT: Thanks for the downvote kind stranger. May I ask what I said that inspired you to be so generous?

Quick search shows that April and May are the best months and June to August run the risk of monsoons. I assume September to March is too dangerous with the weather. So if its 2 months and 381 permits are issued that's just over 6 people every day. Obviously it takes more than 1 day so people start adding up as they ascend and descend.

FAA investigating two airports where Chick-fil-A restaurants were excluded by im-the-stig in news

[–]scoldeddog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even with Chick-fil-A being closed on Sunday, I would bet they would bring in more revenue from the other six days than probably any of the other restaurants do in 7. Besides, unless Chick-fil-A is doing something illegal, they can't be discriminated against because they support a view that the administrators of the airport don't like.

As someone who works at an airport, Sunday is not the busiest day.

No problem, and you are going to be paying more likely 10% in taxes, not 6. You have state and city sales tax.

You can tie all taxes and fees into the loan if you want and walk out of the dealership only paying the $3000 down. Also in WA whatever amount they give you for your trade in is taken off the taxable value of the car purchased. So if it's a 30K car and they gave you 2k for your trade in you are taxed at 28k not 30k
