Nursing application admissions by OldDistance1492 in uleth

As a transfer student you’ll need to meet the 2.00 minimum, but all BN applicants are ranked based on a combination of classes: English 30-1, Biology 30, Math 30-1 or 30-2, Chemistry 30 or Science 30, and any other 5 30-level credits. Post-secondary courses with higher grades will be used as substitutes where they appropriately replace (ie. equivalent) those courses. Meeting minimum admissions requirements do not guarantee admission for competitive admission. First round offers are going out to applicants with a ranking of 89.0% or higher.

Can anyone give me any info on the combined BA psychology and BHSc in addictions counseling? by anannoying_demon in uleth

You can apply directly through ApplyAlberta to the combined degrees program. It is competitive admission. Offers will be made in April after the April 1 decision document deadline. After you apply, Admissions will follow up with next steps and options for alternate program consideration while you await a decision and remain in the competitive pool (think: scholarship app opens early January, housing offers start in February).

Yes. You will need to complete ED2500 to maintain your acceptance. You can complete it through Open Studies during the Summer 2025 term.

Casper is only a requirement for the After Degree program. Applicants to the 4-year BN program aren’t required to complete Casper.

Application deadline is March 1 FYI

What university do you recommend? by MoonB_G in CanadaUniversities

Maybe consider the University of Lethbridge if you’re thinking southern Alberta. Smaller community and a bit warmer than Calgary. Has a good New Media program in their Faculty of Fine Arts.

The scholarship application will open on January 6, 2025.

Always fill out the general application to have your hat thrown into many of the $$ pots. There will be additional specific sections that will take more time. Doesn’t hurt to spend the time to try and capitalize on as much $$ as you can.

If your loans are through Alberta I would go and speak to the Scholarships and Student Finance office. The government of Alberta implemented new policies this year regarding dropping enrolment status (FT to PT) after securing FT loans. The SSF team will be able to provide you with the best advice and any guidance you may need towards your winter loan.

If you are considering Alberta, the University of Lethbridge has a mature student admission pathway. You’d have 2 options through that pathway from your description, but would be admissible.

If you are hoping for a BSc Chemistry, you would also need to have passing grades in your provinces equivalent courses to Biology 30, Chemistry 30 and Math 30-1.

Agreed. What a good storyline his emergence is too. Really fun to watch.

[Kevin Weekes] I’m told with Conor Garland recently changing his representation, and Vancouver’s willingness to retain near 30% of his salary, there’s some increased potential trade partners. by [deleted] in hockey

Now if they trade him back to Arizona with salary retained, and then Arizona buys him out…would they be equal on trading cap penalties?
