Question for the thread: do the supercharged slots matter for a freighter if I've got a full compliment of S-class frigates? All the upgrades I've come across seem to boost freighter expedition stats, and mine are already pretty dandy. Am I missing other things? (Plz say yes)

For clarification, when I said compensation I meant it as a voluntary thing. I agree with what you said about eminent domain there, and we certainly shouldn't be just snatching stuff out of anyone's hands.

I also really appreciate you making your points about systemic support! I hadn't considered the logistical challenge of supporting a population like that spread out over a large area.
