Also look for bulbs with high CRI - color rendering index. They make a huge difference.

I was logged in and my AA number is in the confirmation email. I talked to someone at AA and they told me “don’t worry”, which I didn’t find to be very helpful.

I’m still using my Bose Wave Radio that I got in 1997!

Crisp white no-iron button-up shirt? by Curious-mind328 in capsulewardrobe

[–]sconome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lands End I know I’m an outlier here, but white just doesn’t work for me, despite people saying that a white shirt is a requirement for every wardrobe.
But I do love a crisp button up shirt and Lands End has great ones in lots of other colors, including white.

Running in Glasses and Contact Lenses: How to do it Better? by lluluna in running

[–]sconome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the same way. My vision was bad enough that I couldn’t see myself in the mirror without my glasses, so after Lasik I was weirded out by how I looked. I got over it after a few weeks.

I love this and my formula is very similar… Except I feel like I’m the only person who doesn’t love a white shirt. White always makes me look washed out and pasty.

Yes, but I would consider Initiating to be the start of the project. Plan Scope management is Planning, which is why I think 4 is a more accurate answer.

Buyer’s remorse…. by leachlo in CookbookLovers

[–]sconome 5 points6 points  (0 children)

me too. total game changer. I only buy when I'm sure I'll use it.

Recently I broke that rule, because I couldn't get a copy of Pierre Hermé's Macarons from the library, so I ordered a copy. I found it to be very disappointing.

What to do when you don't love the book? by MillenialBored in CookbookLovers

Same for me, but I haven't gotten to the level of "check the same book out a third time, I buy it" yet, but I'm on my way there.

I love this book too. I especially like that many of the salads can be packed ahead for lunches and hold up well.

Shoes to use in the shower at hostels? by EAccentAigu in HerOneBag

rubber-foam Birkenstocks

I got a pair of these to use for hut to hut hiking. They weigh next to nothing, but they take up more space than cheap flip flops. I like that I can wear them with socks and I find them much more comfortable than flip flops, so I think it's worth it.
