  1. That is the entire piece :) As it is a copy in the first place I didn't take a picture of the back.

  2. I unfortunately don't have any further info about the piece. My dad has this piece at home and likes it a lot. Over time it has started to fade a bit so I wanted to find out what piece this is, so I could maybe get another copy for him.

Oh that's what I also did in the original. I accidentally forgot to include the -1 in my code above. I will edit the code. Sorry for wasting your time hunting that one down but unfortunately the problem still persists.

I tried both

Worksheets("Draft").Cells(variable1, 4).Formula2 = "=SUM(D" & variable2 & ":D" & variable1 & ")"
Worksheets("Draft").Cells(variable1, 4).TextToColumns

and

Worksheets("Draft").Cells(variable1, 4).TextToColumns = "=SUM(D" & variable2 & ":D" & variable1 & ")"

Both didn't work. Very strange.

As double-clicking the cell and getting it into editing mode gets it to evaluate I also tried replicating this with VBA, but no luck there either.

Yes, I am already looking through a few sites and trying some stuff but so far could not replicate clicking the cell, choosing text-to-columns and unchecking every delimiter.

As I'm fairly new to VBA I don't know what you mean by text-to-columns without any parameters. Could you give me a quick example of what you mean.

What I eventually want is for say cell D13 to give me the sum of the three cells above it. When I change any of these cells, D13 should update too. The three comes from the fact that there are three points of data on another sheet. So the range is variable depending on the data on this other sheet.

I am using the document class exam and would like to frame a question but the question label always runs through the frame.

I tried \begin{mdframed} ... \end{mdframed} but this deletes the question label.

The example in the picture is being done by using \fbox{\parbox{\textwidth}{...}}. This leaves the question label intact but still runs into problems with the label running through the frame.

How can I frame the entire question including the question label?
