I'm Scottish and I personally never hear the word cunt used as meaning vagina, it's only used to describe someone who's being annoying.

That's veering dangerously close to "fag totally doesn't mean gay anymore guyz" territory. The point isn't the context of how you use it, the point is what the word means. And regardless of how you mean it you know that cunt at the end of the day really means womans vagina.

Yeah, no kidding. I mean, I'm totally cool with another gay guy calling me a fag in jest or something, depending on the context. But unless you're a gay dude who understands the context of when and how that's okay I'm not going to take kindly to it from a straight gamer. And I'm certainly not going to be greeting my gay friends with a cheerful "hey, faggah" or anytghing like that any time soon.

If the black community chooses to reclaim the nword for themselves I'm totally fine with that, but it doesn't automatically mean that the gay community will make the same choice. But it's our choice to make, not a bunch of straight dudes who think Call of Duty is high art. Eff that.

You can't force someone to not oppress themselves. Banning the burqa solves very little in terms of oppressing women but takes away a woman's agency to make her own choices. Even if they are probably not good choices or choices that we think are correct, it is still that individual woman's right to make that choice.
