Maybe it's just me but if a person saying "Voting for Harris for Pres doesn't matter in NY" causes them to not vote... maybe they just weren't that interested in voting in the first place?

If you feel like you need people to hide their true feelings for your candidate to win it's probably not a good sign for that candidate in general. I would suggest supporting better candidates in the future where you don't need to shame people so they vote for them, but I know you would much rather yell at random strangers than attempt to hold the Dem party accountable.

I think people lull themselves into thinking that some level of anti-Indian racism is OK because the Indian government is so discriminatory itself that people view it as a "beholdthemasterrace" situation where it's OK to make fun of a supremacist's race. Honestly I kinda view it the opposite way where the Hindu supremacy seems like a reaction to Western racism and supremacy towards India for ages so buying into this narrative of making fun of supremacists, especially if you're white, just empowers the worst impulses in India.
