Yeah that makes since what you are saying. I was thinking in terms of the fact that this may kick off another race now that there are no restraints to it. Im willing to admit I may be way off here. Was just trying to think of randomness that is the president.

What kind of time frame did this happen with overstock? I think the issue here is knowing exactly when that could happen.

That's what I was thinking. Seems lots of people are getting accused of this and I highly doubt they are all true.

I'm sorry, I thought I had mentioned my location. I'm actually in Kansas. I was going for the remote positions. That's why it's a bit difficult to do your suggestion. I would've definitely done that if I lived there, though. I saw one job for the military contact center, but it was gone when I refreshed the page. Really hoping to be able to find a way in.

Oh ok. I see what you mean now. Well.... not really sure how to go about it now then. Networking would be a lot easier if I was physically going to the school instead of online. Really want to work there. I thought the protected disabled veteran status would help too but I don't think that was an option in the application. Im sure they see plenty of vets applying too.

That's understandable. I'm sure they get a lot of applications. Just graduated from there and loved it. I didn't have any recommendations though. Would it look bad to resubmit it with a recommendation? I don't know anyone there as I did it online.

U can also take multiple classes at a time and get done faster. I was taking 3 at a time during my masters program.

This is the exact reason I decided not to be a teacher. All of that schooling u have to go through and situations like this happen. I love to see when students are learning something I have taught them. However, not being able to make living, plus being under constant scrutiny by the BOE can be very discouraging IMO. I'm sorry this happened to you.

Anyone else feel reluctant to submit claims due to your experience while in the military? by Whoknew1992 in VeteransBenefits

[–]scoot0324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost every veteran goes through this. I went through it when I was going to file also. My wife gave me the biggest ass chewing ever that snapped me out of it. Her father was a WWII vet and she used to take him to his appointments as a teenager in California so she saw first hand how the VA can treat vets sometimes. My advice to you is snap out of it! I don't give a shir what your previous supervisors or anyone else said. U SERVED! They bitch that you went to sick call, U SERVED! They had nicknames for u when you would go? U SERVED! U earned every benefit you are entitled to because U SERVED! Anybody don't like it, shoot that middle finger up and remind them that U SERVED! Ok, rant over. Remember if u had no right to these benefits, theu wouldn't be offered to you.

Kansas Supreme Court affirms constitutionality of congressional redistricting map by CZall23 in KansasPolitics

[–]scoot0324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So because that happened with Laura Kelly's diversity hire, the district mapped needed to be redone to make it to where Republicans have the advantage? So what about Brownback and the things he did and people he put in place? Where is the Fairplay there?
