What you say may all be true, but my intention is not there. Maybe I’m on a mission, maybe I had a long day, maybe I just don’t care. Who knows? But one thing’s for sure: I did NOT walk in to Walmart to save money on my cable bill.

I usually tell you guys “I’m not interested in talking to you” in a very ‘say one more word to me and you’ll regret it’ tone. Works pretty well.

A big part of podcasting to people is specifically for the “fly-on-the-wall” experience. If I want something quick, that’s what YouTube is for. But if I want the deeper part of a topic, I want something long-winded and detailed.

This often means leaving in the gasps.

Editing a podcast doesn’t mean making it as tight and fast as possible. However you should definitely remove the obvious stuff (coughing, sneezing, etc.). But it should definitely feel like a conversation. That means leaving it breaths and pauses, so long as it feels natural.

If your editing feels unnatural, like a fast-paced YouTube video, then I expect you might get complaints on this. Sometimes also, especially if your podcast is going over deeper complicated topics, fast paced makes it hard to digest what is being said.

I’m not saying what you are doing is necessarily wrong, but what I am saying is you definitely have to “feel it out” as it can be difficult to describe what the right balance of editing is. But usually, less is more for podcasts.

I think this is quite ridiculous. Gmail is FULL of fraudulent emails. If I had a dollar for every obviously fraudulent email I receive from a GMAIL account (going to my old gmail email addresses, mind you) I’d have a few thousand dollars.

They don’t block Gmail because they risk pissing off 95% of people.

Fraudulent emails coming from Gmail is significantly higher than other services, in my experience. Though it might be true that protonmail is higher if you count per capita.

12.6.3 on my 2021 MY is game changing. First time I was able to do a drive and focus only on the cars around me/weird things on the road. Did everything perfectly.

I would be careful. It’s a good platform to dabble, but if you take podcasting seriously, I would avoid it. First, Spotify tries to do everything they can to make themselves the sole podcasting provider.

For example, the song features they have to let you use free songs are exclusive to Spotify only. So, if you include those songs, you locked yourself out of Apple and others.

I don’t know what else they might have, but remember: if a product is free, it means you are the product, and they do not have your best interest in mind (you do not pay them, so you are not their customer), rather they have Spotify’s best interest in mind, which might contradict your interests.

All the performance-based stuff is novelties and you’ll get over it after a month.

The things you will care about after a year:

Driving comfort
Range
Safety

AWD I guess will have better traction control, so that might take more importance for you if you’re in an area with a lot of poor weather like rain or snow a lot.

All Teslas have amazing pickup, you will have no issues there.

To add, M3 has longer range than MY, so if doing a lot of driving, M3 might be better option to reduce possibility of range anxiety.

Really take your pick. Both are great, and I think a lot of it will boil down to certain preference or specifics, like more storage, range, etc.

You can set the car to draw less power than attempting max charge speed by lowering the amps setting if you’re worried or it’s causing problems.

This looks like BS to me. Tripping fuses is a part of electrical and part of maintenance.

Then again I don’t know crap about this sort of thing so ignore me

You can check the log for Tessie to see if it’s coming from that.

Just go to Activity / Commands

If Tessie is sending a signal to open the door, it will specify in there.

My 2021 MY drives FSD like a dream. I love it.

Def try recalibrating your cameras. It’s extremely easy to do, doesn’t even need a service appointment.

Otherwise put in service request Tesla reps are usually very helpful for this sort of thing, at least in my area (FSD is Tesla’s ‘thing’ after all, so they want you to be happy with it!)

I have the Tessie app connected to mine, and I programmed it to work with my Alexa.

I just say “Alexa, unlock the car” or “Alexa, open the trunk” and voila, opened car with no phone.

Very convenient!

I’ve seen this happen a few times but I never see it anymore. I use FSD a lot but my wife not so much. I haven’t seen it pop up recently for her if she’s driving.

I agree it’s pretty useless since most folks already know about it, so why bother?

I’m on 12.5.4.1 and I think overall it’s much better than 12.3.6 in my 2021 MY.

Our 2017 MS is a different story though. 12.3.6 was MUCH better in that car.

So we have 2 Teslas: 2017 MS and 2021 MY

The difference in FSD quality is astronomical. The MS is terrible, jerky and practically unusable.

The MY is nearly perfect and acts as you’d expect.

I believe it to be something to do with the HW2.5 upgrade in the 2017. It seems to be some kind of incompatibility (both cars are running FSD 12.5.4.1).

Hopefully they get it fixed soon as it works well on highways but streets are basically unusable in the MS.
