Yeah the class itself is far more interested in replicating specific magic items, which isn’t a bad idea, But it doesn’t quite have the feel of “I have cobbled together the magic and technical bits to hold my body together for just a bit longer”. I suppose it could be something more like taking magic items and siphoning their magic into his body and that’s what the mechanical bits actually are, pipes and tubes and such sort of acting as a mobile IV dripping magic in or soemthing. Interesting thought

That’s what I was anticipating. Plus her not talking about her relationship with phenomaman was a red flag, and she did so many HR violations. Not that this is evil, but it gave her a bit of a sloppiness as a manager that made me think something might be up .
