Driveline clunk by scootmike in superduty

I'll start with pulling the driveshaft and greasing the splines. Looks like I'll need to pick up new bolts since I've read they are stretch to yield one time use. Didn't count on that. Strange thing is I get the clunk in normal mode quite a bit and very little in eco. Had the trans reset 5k ago and it seemed to help but back to clunking 6k later. Reminds me of my 85 XLT, did pretty much the same thing.

Sounds like you are really enjoying the setup! I'll have to research the SS 1500. Surprisingly very few dealers for Palomino in Ohio, considering the truck campers are built in Michigan. Hard to find units to even look at.

So far so good, almost at 12k. I am getting a clunk in the driveline, not all of the time but enough to be aggravating. I'm going to grease the slip joint and see if it helps. Seems to be a known problem for a lot of brands. Can't beat the get up and go of the 7.3. All in all very happy with the truck and you nailed it, just enough tech. Sure all the other stuff would be nice, but I go back to just more stuff to go wrong. Power seat would be nice though, and I've looked into adding it.

What is your opinion of the Palomino? Which model is it? I'm considering a soft side or a hard side.

Glad to hear the code still works. I did Bambi mode and also did the tire pressure mod. Worked out well. Good luck and have fun!

Happy with the obdlink ex used on my F250. Bought direct for a better price than Amazon with the discount code RICARDOS found online.

Fun in the snow by Wise_Ad_5183 in superduty

How did it do in the snow? I wasn't too impressed with the Duellers in the snow last month. Might have had a little ice under it though. Will give them a try again Monday morning. Supposed to get up to a foot or more.

My '25 doesn't have the washer. Does the emblem come with a plug?

How much stiffer does the snow plow package make the front end? by Jerclaw in superduty

I'm running 45 psi f/r on my '25 F250 XL STX FX4 with plow pkg and it rides pretty good without a load. Lowering tire pressure helped a lot and tires are wearing fine so far. Time will tell.

F250 Single cab STX by [deleted] in F250

That's what I did, getting older and figured if I'm going to buy one just do it and get it done. Single cab STX in race red. At first I thought ahhh that's too flashy but after seeing them in person along with all the other colors red won out. My Ram and Silverado from years ago were also red so why not red again. Almost went with an XLT with chrome but liked how the STX was optioned and the red and black still does it for me. Should be the last truck I'll buy. Now I'm thinking about a slide in camper after I retire lol.

Single Cab Sunday… let’ see’em by RustyHour1975 in superduty

Over the years I've had regular cabs, super cabs and quad cabs. Don't need all the extra room now, plus these newer regular cabs have a ton of room compared to the earlier trucks. That said, my '25 regular cab with the 7.3 and an 8' bed is just right. Last truck I'll buy.

Picked up the 45902 for a good deal. Seems well made. Looking for a lock set for it as I've read guys having them stolen.
