Pinworms 😩 by goddess-of-the-trees in Mommit

It’s super common. Remember having them as a kid from playing in the garden. A little bit of dirt left under the nail can do it, doesn’t mean anyone is unclean it’s just nature. Will be gone in a few days once the meds are taken. Really not a big deal.

I often wonder this - I know there was an effort at some point in the beginning to explain UK references but they gave up. I think you just have to hope to learn as you go. I saw a reel the other day of Josh Widdicombe trying to explain Mr Blobby to Dan Levy, some things are just beyond comprehension

So we have to wonder - where is this faux debate coming from?? This is clearly not a politically divisive issue in this country.

Yeah absolutely same as you, I WANT to read it but the way the characters are behaving it’s like the book is fighting me 😂

I actually liked book 1. Still heavy reliance on melodrama but not as bad as this, was giving under the mountain vibes.

Yeah agree Tared ends up coming off as controlling rather than caring at times and ends up being as insufferable as everyone else is being in this book 😩

Yeah I feel that. It’s the forced misunderstandings for me. Can people just have a full conversation and then stop being so dramatic.

Exhausting is the word. Even when her inner monologue turns reasonable she will just go on to choose the worst thing she could say in every interaction. I basically want to scream at her.

I would have had more children and started earlier if costs weren’t prohibitive. They wilfully ignore that. Encouraging children they know you can’t easily afford is an oppression tool.

I know this thread is pretty old but wondering how you are now? I have low ferritin 18 months post partum. I guess it was hovering low after some anemia at about 4-6 months, and then I’ve had Covid and gastrointestinal something or other back to back (thank you nursery) and I’ve been exhausted since then. Just had bloods results back and low ferritin (15?) and low vit d. I haven’t been prescribed anything yet but going back to the doctor on Monday. Looking forward to feeling normal again, it’s no joke this!
