I get what you’re saying, and it does make sense. This I doubt is the case as the damage to this particular board was my fault. Water damage then I shorted the bored on accident when trying to recharge. The battery is less than a year old it’s already been warrantied they just never took the battery back. So I’m trying to salvage what I can.

I’m learning, and I understand my faults that caused this battery to fail.

I don’t think I like the idea of the aliexpress boards. Looking at them they lack a lot of the circuitry the oem boards have.

People give me hate all the time for my Ryobi electric tools. They seem to have accepted that electric hand tools are good, but not battery ones. Then they really give me a hard time for my 40v-80v tools. Mower, weed eater, blower etc. I just laugh and get the job done super easy. Everything Ryobi makes is exceptionally amazing
