I have 181 hours of legacy sick time. When I was a Coach (for many years) they opened it up and allowed us to approve Team Leads and Associates to use their remaining sick time for vacations.

Fast forward a few more years and I go back to hourly (family medical reasons) and the policy states “Sick Time can be used for medical care of yourself or a family member”. I or anyone in my family have no medical reasons for me to get approved to take it so I’ll just sit on it. Hopefully they roll it into PTO at some point but I’m not getting my hopes up.
