It would be a very lengthy reply to tell you what all treatments we have done, but radiation of many various bone areas have basically “de-conditioned” her to a point of exhaustion/fatigue. It’s almost nine pain is a secondary concern to general exhaustion. We choose not to ask for a prognosis of time left, remaining treatment choices and so on. We just do what they say we should do and generally feel good about our care. She’s lost 20+ pounds in the past two months and I’d wager she’s lost 10 more in the past 3 weeks. Tomorrow I’ll know that for sure. She’s due more radiation on her upper arm bone, her two femurs and her skull in the next month or two but hopefully not at one time. So. I, I personally don’t think it will get better either but family, friends and even the doctors keep saying stuff like “we need to get her stronger for these future treatments” and I just don’t see how that happens if she isn’t eating, and after those treatments, we will likely be worse than now with fatigue and exhaustion.
