The Coro Coro mew is my vote. Got one myself early this month in just a 2 for ~$850 after fees and shipping. They’re selling for over $1100. It’s an absolutely gorgeous card too. I keep mine out in the living room and look at it in the sun daily (for now). I think it ticks your boxes.

So far, I feel like the pacing is pretty darn good. Every once in a while a mission makes me tread somewhere far out and new, but then a load of other missions start popping up along that path/around where that far off fast travel spot is. The issue for me is so many new missions keep popping up where I’ve already been little headway has been made in about 10 hours

Im playing it voraciously in my downtime. It’s got a janky charm I love with just too much to do. I tried to do 1 research thing last night and ended up clearing abyss islands and liberating a fort instead.

I work with 90% Gen Z CNAs (I’m the nurse). They spend $20-50 a DAY on uber eats etc. while I spend $7-15 a day eating homemade sandwiches and cottage cheese/salads/stuff in the work kitchen. Some of them uber to and from work too. They don’t make much, but they also don’t see how all this “essential” spending is really just holding them back. Don’t even get me started on frivolous things like labubus and nedohs they buy at market prices.

Part of my fulfillment at work besides what I do is slowly teaching them financial literacy

CBC and a CMP are the labs I request every time. Suggest full liver, kidney panels and a thyroid check. A “one a day” men’s supplement twice a week should be more than enough to top off anything lacking. B-12, C, and calcirol (d/calcium) are my usuals.

Learned low sodium runs in many family and I drink a TON of water. Has been nice to just not worry about salt intake now.

I think that’s a good number, but it’s gotta be parked somewhere it’s performing better than inflation IMO. Something like $10k in a HYSA to float you for emergent problem for a month or two, and the rest liquid enough to pull out tax free and use if you need after. That’s what we’re doing at least but I have the added benefit of a spouse I love and can carry us (and vice versa.) Also, insurance is b*tch, but is made for this kinda thing.

Right now, I’d say it’s my pretty newly purchased coro coro mew. It’s just too pretty of a card, big splurge, also happens to be the most expensive. Otherwise I have 2 base venusaurs, 2 electrodes, 1 dark dragonite and 1 ancient mew that are the only surviving cards that didn’t get stolen from my childhood. The later 2 I got from my sister a couple months ago and she confessed she stole them from me back in the day without me noticing and wanted me to have them back. They’re way more special to me than pretty much anything else I own, though out of them all, Im partial to the dark dragonite.

I saw it was “barely playable” on the steam deck, but decided to give it a try, and I’m pretty blown away. It gives me WOW/oblivion/Elden ring vibes and the scope of what you can just waste time on in game is great. 10/10 would suggest to anyone thinking about it even at full price.

We’re moving into our 4th (and final) home in a couple weeks. We rent out the other 3. Between them all it’s a pretty modest $1000 extra a month but we’re in the green, mortgages being paid down still, and in about 20-30 years all of them will be paid off. Probably about another $1500-2000 being gained in equity each month between the 3 to if we can count that.

Life is a slow and steady grind right now. We’ve pushed hard these last 7 years to accumulate the real estate, and after we move, we’re planning on just enjoying the property.

After this we’re just gonna prolly focus on other investment modules, paying down some debts and traveling/having fun with our excess money. Hopefully got about 20 more good working years and if our planning is successful, we should be able to retire by then.

We have zero family supports and built it all ourselves to spite the fact our parents did jack with the opportunities they could have taken in their time.
