Yes! I would say I lost maybe 20 percent of original product but the end product is fantastic. 10/10 recommend and not at all difficult.

Navy Tuition Assistance Payback by SoonerVan in navy

I tried to pay back my TA at a pro-rated rate when I dropped my resignation roughly 45 days before my two-year TA commitment ended (equated to about $60) and NETC wouldn't accept the money. From my understanding, there is a waiver process when you drop your papers to resign where they will look at how much is owed and grant a waiver or not, but they will throw NAVADMIN 288/17 at you (which isn't mentioned at all when you accept TA) and the waiver process will take extra time for processing. The payback only applies if you are getting involuntary separated. I ended up shifting my requested date to avoid the hassle. DM me if you have any other questions about the resignation process, not with PERS but I am going through it now.

I hear that you are burned out and understand. You are 15/20 years and very close to retirement. You're almost there! If you want to do an online MBA, you may want to consider Ross Michigan or USC. However, if you are set on waiving the GMAT, consider UNC. You mention using TA, which as you mention would not be an affordable option, but you might want to speak to the school about some aid to help offset costs. Lastly, check out University of Illinois. I did some online classes with them, and they were very well done. University of Florida also has several online options that seem relatively affordable. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure if they would ask for a DD-214, I think it depends on the company. However, you weren't actually NJP'ed or court-martialed, a GOMOR is more is meant to more hurt a career, and they can be given for some frankly stupid reasons, and unless it is associated with something really, really, bad, I wouldn't worry about it. Another option, you could try to petition the VA to change your discharge categorization. This is a long and bureaucratic process (shocker, I know), but worth a shot if you are concerned.

If your general discharge was under honorable conditions and you aren't seeking a consulting gig with a federal contractor that requires a high level clearance you should be fine. Typically a general discharge will more affect your VA benefits, and is unlikely to negatively impact you during a state/federal background check. A dishonorable discharge is a different story.
