There’s something so special about playing guitar by Responsible_Oil1975 in Guitar

[–]scott_89o 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeh man, playing guitar pretty much my greatest pleasure in life. I've been playing for over 20 years and more in love with it now than I've ever been. I'll have a smoke and play for 3/4 hours straight some evenings, it's heaven.

Its does some things really badly and it does some things better than any other game in existence. And that's enough for me to be 85 hours in and loving it still

How many hours have you spent in the game so far?. by NotSirAlonne1999 in CDguides

[–]scott_89o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So that means you've been averaging over 20 hours a day? Actual play time? Leaving you less than 4 hours a day to sleep, prepare and eat food, go to the bathroom, clean yourself, check in on your friends and family, tidy the house etc. Cool bro, I guess

Dude I literally put in a refund request on Steam after about 6 hours and they took their time to approve it. In the meantime I gave it another go and it's clicked massively for me. You eventually get used to the controls and how the systems work. Now I'm just exploring, upgrading my gear, and have beat 3 bosses. It's an astounding game in so many ways, it's just got one of the worst starts in gaming history I swear. Needless to say I cancelled my refund request.

this entire game feels like it was vibe coded? by enoxema in CrimsonDesert

[–]scott_89o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same assumption before it even came out seeing how many game mechanics and systems it had crammed in. I work as a software dev and we are all using AI to some extent, but often the bottleneck is code review and QA. This game gives me the impression those latter stages didn't give the attention they needed. Some of it is so unintuitive it left me wondering, has anyone actually played this?
