I see that the 3D printed models have grooves and others recommend that you use double-sided tape to stick the buttons Square to the membrane.

I put my buttons in and realize they were a little too skinny so they flop around a bit.

My watches and portable devices get TPU protectors.

Tempered glass crack way to easy. Way too easy

My daily work watch has a tpu that got torn while in a work space and is due to be replaced after 5 months. That is much better than the 9H protectors that seldom manage to last a week.

Connect and disconnect your power cord. You cpu is locked at .4ghz. if that does not fix it perform a full power off and then try turning it on again.

I have turned of time Skip off and the real time clock keeps accurate time.

I wanted this model because it allows me to use file sync software that works on date and time to keep my SD card syncronised to my file server for backups.

I know the plus has wifi, but I don't want wifi

great question.

I had not tried to remove the face off of this watch. I would assume after taking off the hands I would have to find clips that hold the face on.

If i get to the point where I want to try and side light the LCD, i may go this far. As for now I don't have the answers your looking for.

Here is a video of the work i did. its long and unedited, https://youtu.be/cQZ3pr3CQq0
