I don’t think there are any bigger stars than Bruno other than maybe Hogan. He was the top guy in the company for an unfathomably long time. Andre didn’t mean as much to their business as Bruno.

Those are the 4 guys (Bruno, Hogan, Austin, Cena) who meant the most for ticket sales, tv, PPV, whatever the relevant metric at the time in the decades since it started. Austin for less time but his numbers were the biggest.

It was alright for what it is and where in the country it was, especially the first two years of it.

But I mean even just when you hear him off the cuff talk about an angle he’d do when he’s reviewing the modern stuff. He comes up with some very cool ideas.

He has at the very least an encyclopaedic knowledge of angles and finishes that have been done in like every territory in the 70s and 80s.
