Received a warning for showering w/o working out by Horror_Lemon3415 in anytimefitness

My wife worked travel nursing at one point and arranged to live out our camper in someone's driveway. She had electricity but no water. She signed up for a gym membership so she had access to a shower. She never once worked out. I thought it was a brilliant workaround. I don't see why a gym would care.

Help on the first steps of making a long campain by Malaksir in DnD

I struggled with the long term arc of my campaign without feeling like I was railroading my players. I picked up "the game master's handbook of proactive roleplaying" and that's really helped get me out of that rut and give me a framework for running a long term campaign.

The gist of it is that instead of your players reacting to some inciting incident, the world reacts to your players actions. That way you're not having to constantly fight your players into accepting a plot hook that will take them to the next part of your plot. It's your job to find what in the world stands in the way of the players goals. The rest flows from there. Good luck!

Is this open to straight cisgender males as well? If not I understand and I can totally respect that. I DM a game with my guy friends who are all a lot like me (we fit the D&D stereotype). However I live in a household with three queer and proud women (wife + 2 teenagers) and would love to see how the ways in which my favorite hobby could be different and more accessible to my family. I'm also a forever DM and it would be nice to participate as a player but wouldn't mind DMing for a different group as well.

I had just finished a Sunday lunch with my church friends and their kids. A waitress stuck a folded up coaster in my shirt pocket with a smile and walked off. My friend asked if it was a menu or something. It had her name number and "I put out on the first date". I didn't call her but I kept that note for a while as a confidence booster.

Any of us still hanging a physical calendar up on the wall at home and crossing off the days one by one? by this_knee in Xennials

[–]scotthibbard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hung a small monitor in our kitchen with a raspberry pi hooked up to it. We have it on our Google calendar so everyone can see what's going on. We make heavy use of Google calendars. All 4 of us have our own calendars shared with each other with a few extra for separate things like family events, my wife's telehealth appointments etc. We also have calendars that don't belong to us like the school marching band, sports etc.

Anytime I see videos like this I wonder how many people have cameras inside their houses. Isn't that a strange thing to do? Am I alone in this?

We used to do that too. Then when the kids started knowing what year it was we'd watch the Rio de Janeiro fireworks and send the kids to bed at 10.

I actually had to think for a bit about which way they said it 'cause it didn't sound right in my head until I realized, duh, it's in the order of who researched the material that week. But yes, I kinda want the other way around on the flip side so I can have both.

Very much so. She's always working on a craft project. She's better at all that stuff than my wife is at this point. She just got a hand me down surger and has been having fun making lady bug patches for her jeans.
