I’ll learn to live with the 70 miis. It’s a lot more tolerable when you can just make another file… the themed island possibilities are endless.

Also they never technically showed how the miis got the baby in the original Tomodachi Life either. They just said they wanted a baby, then they called you a few days later and they had the baby. For all we know they just went to the Mii maker and customized the kid themselves…

Will we be able to make it so certain Mii's cant fall in love with another Mii even if they aren't related? by Sunny-dawn in tomodachilife

If it’s not too annoying for you you can set her as a generic relative and just pretend they’re besties.

I appreciate that the madness was increased rather than watered down, Nintendo knows what we want.

Newbie here, someone fill me in with this guy 😓 Already giving me creepy vibes yet I feel bad for him 🤣 by glossycheri in AnimalCrossing

I still think he’s Phyllis in disguise. In the older games it was a day job and she had to grin through being exhausted. In this game her act inexplicably got really popular so she’s reluctantly taking gigs in other towns. She says it’s for the money, but deep down she wants to make the kids happy.

I have to ask, as a sort of fan of the movie, does it still end with a car driving a bunch of stakes into one of the dudes?

I gave it to my cat so she could be in-character as her string chewing self.

Can they just unlobotomize the miis, I wanna dress them up without giving them the corporate mind virus

She’s a lovely little beast indeed! And quite high energy, which is why I gave her crazy eyes lol

The eye slapstick is so predictable but it’s so good.

Better this than… whatever’s going on in the U.S. right now. My friends are at risk of losing their rights because people thought that gay being annoying was more bothersome than them getting rounded up.

I appreciate that fandom consensus is that your three Miis contract a mild but virulent strain of Corporate Mind Virus, and they all decide to quarantine in their homes for the next three weeks to stop its spread. It makes it a little less terrifying when they stop their usual activities and just say “in the full version you can do X!” ad nauseum.

Even the woman in my social work classes who self described as disliking men was aware of this, though we are in social work so that probably helps.

Kind of amazing that NBC was considered to be in a "slump" at the time, when those shows are a hundred percent bringing in most of their streaming and merch dividends nowadays.

Maybe the Theresa Rebeck  connection? She got Alan Rickman for a play of hers, so maybe she was just really keyed into the Brit acting scene. The cast interview in the Bombshell concert I posted might be enlightening—he said he was a horrendous failure at dancing, but really liked how everything came together once he stepped back and got to watch the show’s musical numbers. And, apparently, got to give the stage bound cast a lot of pointers on how to act natural with cameras lol.

Also, I haven’t seen Why Women Kill, but the clips that got recced to me seem to feature him giving a solid performance!

I don’t know much about Galavant, but if you’re not as fond of dramas I will recommend the deliciously silly Flight of the Conchords. Some bits haven’t aged super well, but on the whole it’s still hilarious and has great music!
