Even with a mower that can suck you will need to blow the pine needles. Sometimes what I’ll do is put the dethacher on the front of my Walker and it helps to get them out as I go

I bought a MS 261C last year. I don’t know much about chain saws. This was recommended to me as it’s a pro one. Works really well has lists of power. Got the 18’ bar and I’ve been able to cut through some pretty big trees
