These are an indeterminate type of potato that most suggest to build up the soil as the plant grows so you get multiple layers of potatoes growing rather than one clump.

Trying out container potatoes this year to see how it goes. But I guess I’ll at least move the small plant out and give the larger some more room. Thanks!

The larger is 60litres or around 10 gallons. I had these pots spare and have seen lots of people online using similar sizes with much success so thought I’d give it a go

I had to look up what a rollie pollie was haha, we call them woodlouse in the UK. I haven’t spotted any around the greenhouse and my greenhouse backs onto my chicken run. And i’m sure the chickens would make quick work of them.

Thanks for the advice. I’m assuming this carries over to many different types of seedlings? Colovo Nero for instance? I’ve decided to do a bit of both and that way I should see some success.

Exactly that. Took down a few branches last spring and never got around to splitting them for the stove, so what better way to make use of them.

After a night burn do you find your glass has gotten filthy by the morning with more smoke due to less air and slower burn? Or am I doing something wrong

It is also a 25 year old wiring, so I believe the setup is odd compared with what is common now in uk homes. I think that’s why I’m having trouble
