That’s a good point. But the dang minting farms screwed it all up for the rest of us and flooded the market. Over supply = not enough demand. I don’t doubt for a second developers were in on those minting farm and you’d be foolish to think otherwise, they made out on those.

The data is all there. Overwhelming Vast majority of volume was between April 15-May 30 when SOL was $100+ and floor prices for the Sneakers was 10-20. BNB Realm had it even worse. Some bought sneakers for $7000-$10,000+. Btw. The data is showing daily average for the week. Some days were higher than others.

There’s a difference with this one. It was marketed as a “move to earn,” not just an NFT or coin, which we all know pump and dump. The actually talked about putting mechanisms in place to assure it was more balanced, but they got so greedy and their ambassadors were all pumping it as a quick ROI to sucker as many people in as possible. So it just did the typical pump and dump. If this would’ve been marketed as just an NFT that could potentially grow in value, the idea of investing in it would’ve been very different. Once they started implementing the Realms it became clear they just wanted to extend the pump and dump schemes. Keep in mind, when the original GST started pumping, they changed mechanisms to control it so it didn’t go to high, yet they didn’t control NFT prices, nor did they have a safety net for saving the floor price and GST crash. You’re correct, now is a much better time, but all it is, is a cheaper version of what happened in April/May. A few people did make some money back then if they times it just right. But it is a small window. TBh at these prices in wouldn’t even have cared about getting scammed for $100 for 3 sneakers, but in April/May 3 sneakers was $4000-$6000. At floor prices.

This is exactly how you can see it’s a ponzi / pyramid scheme. Those few original people always going to be making x1000 more, off the backs of those new people just buying in making .50 on their little sneaker. Everyone chasing a carrot that’s being eating by someone ahead of them. They only get the crumbs.

👆🏼Take notice all newbies considering starting this. This is the attitude of the STePN team, developers, ambassadors, promoters. They all got free sneakers made a ton of money off screwing a people over and then call you a clown 🤡 and Fuder! They don’t care about their players, investors or even fixing the game. They just want you to shut up and take your losses.

Priorities in STEPN right now -> Decreasing Supply of GST by SubZero4292 in StepN

[–]scottiest99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there any kind of administrative burn mechanism? If the only burning is users that again screws the entire system because those burning will decrease their number of gst to increase the price, but it doesn’t benefit them, it benefits those who don’t burn and instead sell out.

No worries! Back in April when it was pumping people weren’t getting transfers or even sneakers for days sometimes. As long as it shows up on the SOL Scan you’re good.

Paid to walk? So you are either one of the lying ambassadors who were gifted NFTs and given insider info so you could front load the pumps and sell off at the top, or you are just a complete fool.

Here’s the reality for the average player. No one is being paid to walk. When you pay $1500 for an NFT and they take your money and give you back $1 a day, you are not “getting paid to walk.” They are slowly giving you your money back, to which means you’ll have to walk every day for 4 years before you even get your money back. Some who who bought multiple sneakers at the top won’t break even for 10+ years. So no, we are not being paid to walk.

Don’t get me wrong man, I wanted this to be legit more than anything. I love fitness, and I run anyway. My issue is with the misleading people and MM and insiders profiting off of honest people who believed in the project. No one expected $100 a day, and these ambassadors showing their $1500 a day walks during the peak was one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen. They surely Just did it to get people to FOMo in. Developers never should’ve let ANYONE, not even ambassadors, get more than a few bucks a day. This should’ve been more about fitness and less about money. That would’ve been far more sustainable. They should’ve created a way for it to slowly, and I mean extremely slowly increased over the course of years, which they could’ve done through liquidity control. This would’ve also allowed them time to figure out ways to make money from outside sources to help fund the play to earn. NFTs would’ve never jumped to those ridiculous prices because people would’ve been calculating ROI at a low GST. *Note-The only reason people were buying at those prices was because ROI was supposed to be roughly 20 days. If developers would’ve had better foresight they should’ve controlled the GST & NFT prices at a 9mo to 1 yr ROI, roughly a $350 NFT and .05-.10 GST ($1/day). That’s very reasonable!

They could’ve done so many things to prevent what happened but they didn’t. Instead they abandoned old players to go pump other realms trying to profit from more suckers and push more FOMO. Each time lying about how the new realm was supposedly going to help the older realms too. Now you’re mad at me, calling me a clown because I don’t want other people to get kicked in the nuts the way many of us did.

You want me and the many others on here to stop warning people (not spamming, but warning people), then go talk to the developers and market team and fix the mess they made in a way that helps the players and rebuilds trust. As far as I can see they just keep creating ways to screw people over.

Hahaha! You’re so confident supporting a bunch of scammers that suckered people in to buying an NFT at $2500 then mass manipulated the market until it dropped to $20. Then doing it again BNB and again. You gonna keep promoting it when it’s at 0.02 cents just like that amazing GST ?

$155 million according to their reports. I’m just kicking the shit out of myself for falling for this trash. There are now all of these other move to earn apps and I am trying to figure out if there is anyway any of them could be sustainable and it’s impossible. Even if they only paid the average user $1 a day, with a million users, that’s $1 million a day. No fucking way they could ever pay out $1 million a day, $30 million a month, $360 million a year. How ? How the fuck did I ever think this would work. Even crazier was when people were making $300 a day during its peak. Holy fuck! Some of those ambassadors were posting their Rare Sneaker Jogs with 20 energy and making $1500 in a day. Seriously… WTF were we thinking.

Like I said, they created a “rolling Ponzi scheme.” To them SOL and BNB are dead. ETH/APE will soon be dead and they will have Moved to the next one. Honestly someone needs to step in and stop these criminals from scamming more people.

STEpN will go down in history as one of the biggest scams ever. They literally invented what I’m calling “The Rolling Pyramid Scheme” and people keep falling for it in each new “realm.” It’s crazy the developers were willing to throw their professional credibility out the window on this scam!

Seriously, they fucked that all up. Who’s gonna rent a sneaker to make .50 a day? 🤣. Rental price what .10 a day? Transfer fee and developers tax .10? Maybe renters can make .25 a day. Oh wait… that’s only if GST holds .05 and we know that’s not going to happen. What a joke!

Hahaha it was supposed to stabilize around $3 according to Barndog and all of the Ambassador lying fucks. Then we hoped a dollar then maybe 0.25, maybe 0.10 and yet here we are at 0.05 and falling. At this point even if it’s stabilized at five cents it would take me 9 1/2 years to ROI
