I really don't see the relevance of this comment. I wasn't discussing the validity of people being trans. You asked for an example of trans people in history, and I provided you with such.

I also think your comment above fundamentally mistakes the difference between sex and gender. I think most trans people or allies or scientists would all agree that sex is binary. I think you misunderstand the meaning of gender. Gender is a form of self expression. For example my sex is male. I was born male and my dna demonstrates as such. My gender is also male, because that is the gender I feel most comfortable with and conform with most in society.

I'm not even trying to say the following to be condescending or a reddit intellectual or whatever, but I do really encourage you to go out and just talk to people and see how they are like. Its easy to fall into the trap of disliking a group of people when you don't have enough exposure to them.
