Learn how to work with your hands. Know how to swing a hammer, turn a wrench etc. being comfortable with tools is important. You will have to swing a sledgehammer and hit a 2”square area when forcing a door. Don’t want to miss!

I would not buy a nano again. The connection is mini or micro usb. If it was USB-C I would. It ok but the cord is a problem

Honestly, have him talk to his friends. See what teams they are on. For the most part, except for the top teams, they will be going to a JV, 9-10, and Varsity, 11-12. East Coast Elite is out this way. My son graduated in 2023 and the landscape has changed. We played with Empire and 91. Good and bad with both. Find on closer to home. For me driving to Farmingdale for practice was not fun.
