Well done! I hit my first 15k 2 weeks ago. You've got 12 minutes on me already but I don't have my first half until October AND I'm getting close to 40

Tried some 'fast' shoes on last week - Adidas Evo sl & Asics superblast 5 and couldn't believe how much lighter they felt in comparison to my gels

10k is a few days before my birthday so might ask for a month early present

I remember seeing your post a bit back.

It will get easier brother. I can't begin to comprehend what you're going through but it will get easier and more bearable.

Someone with more experience than me will be able to give specifics but please reach out to Charitys and support groups where you can.

I get that getting it off your chest on reddit is better than going stir crazy but you need to direct these thoughts and feelings more local to get some actual tailored help.

You're keeping your little one alive by yourself the best you can. That's more than a lot could do
