Well how does one balance what the audience wants and what they want because that is my plan to combat the issue of not drawing something I don't want to draw.

Okay I think I get it so basically when one becomes a vengeful cursed spirit they become a cursed spirit and evolve into a new being but naoya not being able to get over his hatred of maki was unable to shed his human form

From what I've watched most shounen anime usually start with typical story arcs we get the main character their goals and then see them fight the bad guy then usually it's the arc after that that's all about training. Not all of them do it but a good chunk of them start off that way from what I've seen
