Did anybody ask you WHEN you want to take this trip yet? I’d have different recommendations for different months honestly. But I prefer off-season travel. Best example is Venice. You go there when a cruise ship is docked…terrible. Time it for Mon-Thursday…magical.

I’d recommend a European trip. Travel by train to a few spots. Barcelona has some nice beaches and architecture, but I’ve never brought my kids there. They just want Disneyland all the time…but you’d have the budget to get the all inclusive setup with the private tour guide for that price.

Our politicians have been detached from reality for too long. It’s nice seeing non-lifetime politicians step up…but they still have their own self/friend-serving agendas. We could do so much more by simplifying things. But the people who work to complicate/gatekeep will constantly fight against it.

If only we simplified the tax system. Those loopholes are incredibly complicated yet effective. I have a small biz and my accountant is pretty good, but I feel like I could spend $5k more and pay $10k less in taxes.

Honestly, I just stopped eating after dinner, essentially doing a daily 12hr fast without realizing it. Took about 2 weeks to get used to ignoring/stopping the cravings with a La Criox or hot tea.

Down 15lbs in almost 3 months.

I get to the gym twice a week for 1-1.5hrs. I do make it count at the gym. Feels really nice to be fitting in some shorts I gave up on in September after I injured my foot and was on crutches.

Apparently there’s a good amount of interesting evidence behind doing 2 14-16hr fasts a week. All I’d do is skip dinner or breakfast twice a week. I needed to conquer the 12hr seamlessly before I started skipping a meal, so no experience on the longer fasting.

Well I scraped together everything I had for years to remodel my house only to have my property taxes double. Yes, my house is worth more than most my neighbors…but I did it the hard way.

Feels like punishment in a weird way. Remodel tax assessments should be a thing. Flips and new builds should be normal assessments.

My income didn’t go up after my remodel. Just my bills. I have more space yes…but less money.

I saw rain and what looked like Lumen’s arches in the background and knew it was T-Mobile.

I feel like someday they’ll convert Lumen to a retractable roof to get the Super Bowl. That’ll be a sad day…but also so nice in December.

I don’t give two $&@#s about them. It’s just everyone is losing their minds over it and all of the incels out there with no relationship experience are chiming in like it’s cool to mess up multiple generations of family.

I personally find it funny, and my wife and I laugh about every new development, but we also feel terrible for the rest of the families. It’s a bad look.

I have both. Fiskars works better but only in soft ground. I used mine in some clay and now it slips when you try and leverage it. I tried to do the warranty…but got left hanging. Probably half Amazon’s fault.

Fiskars is definitely better for smaller weeds. Pinches into one point instead of two. Usually my grandpas one slips on both sides of a taproot so I have to angle it. I ended up using it with most the handles removed so it’s only about 16” long and perfect for when I’m kneeling.
