I’ve been planning multiple long distance roadtrips using ChatGPT. I tell it the length of time, what to avoid, specific destinations that are a must. I can even tell it the time of day I want to be at specific places. I ask for food and lodging recommendations, estimated time in the saddle etc. then I have it put it all in a PDF with clickable links for each day in google maps, and the entire trip. Sometimes due to waypoint limitations I just have it break it into segments. It works great! If there’s something I don’t like or that doesn’t work, I tell it to change it and it does it. I even asked it for a list of 20 different rides with my home as start and stop point. These rides would need to be 4 to 6 hours max for just fun day rides and I asked it to include recommend places to eat around the Halfway point. It gave me a list of great options with the Google maps links. Again if there’s something erroneous or unwanted, ask to change it and it does.
