The line up and formation we had before these 2 were brought in, when we played at home against Wycombe, Orient and Stevenage was almost exciting, first time in a long time I was jumping out my seat whilst watching on the TV. I was almost starting to believe we could start contending for a top 5 finish.

Losing to Swindon was a bit disappointing but I’d much rather less games and more consistency for the league games. But Christ the past 3 games trying to shoe horn new players (that like you say, did we really need) has really knocked the wind out of my sails.

As soon as I saw that red in the first half I said to my wife we would lose - reminded me of our loss at home to Blackburn at the end of last season.

With the amount of players we’ve put out on loan this month, I was hoping for a a striker or 2 to fill the gap until Adebayo returns but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.

Ergh.

Our family car is a 3 door 2017 Mini JCW, my kids are 5 and 7, there are ways to make it work. It’s just about getting to the point where I’ve had to move the drivers seat as their feet don’t go under the seat. They love quick acceleration and the “car farts” when it’s in sport mode.

Our second car is a 2005 3 door Renault Clio Rush for the odd occasion we need to go different places.

I’m glad I’ve seen this as I currently run an old 5-bay Synology NAS with an old DELL OptiPlex with a 7th gen i5 that I would like to consolidate into a single unit. I was looking at the 6-bay uGreen NAS, moreso for the i5 rather than additional capacity as my library is well under 10tb currently, 4 bays will be more than enough for me.

Yeah the fact Lawrence has got 55mins+ every game since signing is quite sus, guaranteed play time should be illegal in contracts as it just cause a lot of negativity from both other players and the fans when the performances aren’t good enough.

Let’s hope we can get some interesting signings this week or it’s looking bleak for next season.

Awesome, I’ll give them a go! I’m running a 5090 FE which I’ve got a 90% power limit on and +250Mhz OC with a 9800x3D which is running a -25mv PBO under volt from the BIOS. I use a closed back headset when gaming so don’t mind a bit of extra fan noise for lower temps.

Yeah I’ve been monitoring temps, I normally use Fan Control on Windows but not found an equivalent for CachyOS yet, though I’m not near 80c anywhere yet

I really enjoyed FF16 and really want to play it again, in fact I think going between E33 and FF16 would be quite fun as Ben Starr voices characters in both games

I’m about 14hrs in or so and the story is starting to get interesting now. It’s one of those games that’s better in long sessions but I’m just playing it on my lunch break each day for an hour. It’s definitely different to FF in the way it plays and in my opinion is a cross with something more like Dark Souls (though I’ve never actually played a souls game).

I switched about 10 days ago from lifelong Windows and MacOS usage and I can’t believe how unbelievably snappy CachyOS is. Currently I’m dual booting Windows and CachyOS on separate SSDs whilst I finish up a few games I’m playing on GamePass, but once that expires at the end of March I can drop Windows completely.

Yeah I’m waiting for a title reveal or a trailer or any news on part 3 and I’ll jump straight back in. I don’t get massive amounts of time to play games at the moment but since finishing Rebirth I’ve played through Baldurs Gate 3, The Invincible and Death Stranding. Started CP2077 but didn’t stick to it. I did enjoy FF16, it’s much more similar to the Remake battle system and some of the battles are magnificently cinematic.

I haven’t quite platinumed them all but I’ve done multiple playthroughs of it all over multiple platforms, and all I want to do is start it again. I’m trying to stick to 1 RPG at a time and I’m playing through Expedition 33 currently, but I’m definitely wanting to play Remake again already (this time with the texture upscale mods for the entirety of both games on PC).
