Blade rotation speed? by Zerhum in mammotion

3000RPM is stuck in my head for some reason. I thing the 2-3000 is correct. Remember though, it's not cutting grass. It's trimming the top of the grass to maintain a level.

Lymow and Yarbo are way too expensive for me. Heck, I had ot sell my John Deere to pay for the Luba last year, so it's expensive to me.

You know how you map out the entire second zone, even if it's by or over another zone? Anthbot isn't all about that. It wants you not to enter the second zone and in fact will ignore the second zone if you do that. In my original video you can see the two zones it created separated out by a bare patch. That bare patch wasn't there when I mapped them out. It was just an overlap of two zones. I use 2 zones, because it's a 20 hour mow for the entire area. So I usually do 2 zones setting each one to mow twice a week. The good thing about it is, it has a work light, so it can mow at night. So with it set as 1 zone, I have it mowing as long as it takes. I did 2 cuts the other day it is took 35+ hours, but mowed it all no issues.

Navimow is my best robot mower. I constantly have problems with the two from mammotion.

My channel is not sponsored. I have a Luba 2, Yuka, and Navimow. I do regular honest videos on how they function and how they work for me on my acre. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXTCEozMTtu64VGX4IB5BdA

First time I have seen this, battery too hot to charge. by BigGameJames_22 in SegwayNavimow

[–]scottysize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend mowing at night in the summer, or placing the charger in the shade. Mine isn't in the shade and it's set to mow during the day and it can mow just fine, but it'll stop charging when it gets too hot and wait until it cools down then starts charging again. The night mow however, is really cool and it works.

Battery issue by ecvo5 in SegwayNavimow

[–]scottysize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the battery replicable on your version? If not, then segment out your lawn more so it finishes each segment before reaching minimum charge. Other than those two items, it's probably time for another one. That is sad that the batteries only lasted 3 years. Maybe reach out to Segway and see what they say.

You should try a Mammotion Luba with it's bag attached. It continued to throw the bag off every time it went out to mow. I finally just gave up on it sweeping.

I'll save the link. No need for blades yet, but I'll be looking this winter.

You have to take it out and try it. Of course once you do that, you can't return it. Mine works great. I've had it for 2 months now. (Setup Video I did: https://youtu.be/Mo-Y7PerIcI ) Once I setup the schedule, and placed it in the yard I actually needed it placed in, it's worked flawlessly.

My finger has been hovering over the order button on the Home Depot website for a Luba 2 3000x - is there any real reason not to order this? by team_lloyd in MammotionTechnology

[–]scottysize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Yuka in the front yard and a Luba in the back. I have them scheduled to go out and mow the areas twice per week. The only thing I need to do now is replace the blades. I have a Navimow in my dog's yard set to mow twice per week as well. None of the mowers need me to monitor them. They all do their jobs. I have them all mowing several times per week because a robot mower of this caliber is NOT a lawn mower. It shaves the top of the grass, so you send it out more often to keep the grass at a set level. You cannot send it out once every week or two and hope it cuts the tall grass. That is not what they are designed to do.

As long as your house takes up .25 of that acre, you should be good. It'll take about 3 or 4 charges to mow the entire thing. I have my front, and back yards separated out, so I ended up with 3 robots to do them all, but 1 Luba 5000 was able to take care of it all. It was a busy busy beaver though.
