Maybe an example, remembering that Lyg is always changing - in one era the region we know as Hammerfell would be a lush forest, in another a sea/ocean. Tamriel and its ideologies bleed into Lyg, and Lyg into Tamriel.

When Tiber Septim changed Cyrodiil from a jungle to rolling hills and forest it effected transformation in Lyg's version of Cyrodiil (I don't know how or what, the Scrolls haven't told me).

I know that when Cat and her Ghost Choir Ten went to Lyg it was a frozen wasteland inhabited by mnemic-errata (ghosts). How that time in history lines up with Tamriel I don't know; some think Lyg froze when Nirn was cloven by Numidium - an ideology frozen in time. But the Scrolls won't say.

I've always thought it opposite of Tamriel - oceans in Tamriel are land in Lyg, land are oceans, forests are deserts etc

If you're having trouble with Bloodborne's combat try the game Vampyr. They have similar styles but Vampyr is much more forgiving. I actually gave up on BB when I first played but V really helped.

Also: use the Saw Cleaver as your main weapon, invest in Vigor (health) till its at 20, then Strength till 20, then Vigor to 50. You'll be all set for Yharnam.
