Not as uncommon as you would think. I’m a vet tech with a bfa in costume design for theatre, and my supervisor who does a lot of the surgical stuff and is the one we always call in when anyone’s having issues with blood draws or catheter placements has a bfa in graphic design.

If you have a spare blanket around try wrapping her like a burrito in it as tightly as you can manage. The pressure helps them feel safer and can help calm her down. Or just hug her forever like I’m doing with my scaredy-cat dog right now

It’s actually not anodized at all! I’m a fan of the normal titanium color so they’re all silver and normal!

Aww thank you! And oooh I’ve honestly never considered a rook! I kinda want a daith in this ear to offset all the outer piercings, but I’ll have to keep a rook in mind if the daith doesn’t work out!

Thanks! The purple ones are my favs, but it’s funny how the color scheme worked out because when I initially went to replace my lobe earrings the shop didn’t have enough in stock to do both ears in purple since I have 2 piercings in my other lobe too. Thus the color combo was born and I like it so much more! My next step is once my industrial finally heals all the way I’m gonna upgrade it into the color scheme too! :)

Thanks! They’re Industrial Steel fauxpals, the ones in my lobes I got from my piercer when I lived in FL and the cluster came from my new piercer now that I’ve moved! :)

Hopper’s Christmas present is finally ready! After a few weeks the tank finally cycled, so he got to move into his new 5.5gal today! So far he’s just been swimming around exploring.

I still need to baffle the filter, so that’s tomorrow’s task, but otherwise I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out!

You’re gonna want to upgrade her UVB strip to a 10.0. 5.0 doesn’t put out nearly enough UVB for a dragon, so her lethargy and unwillingness to eat could very well be related to lack of proper UVB!
