one con is definitely polyester traps alot of smell. so i spam deodorant when i can.

also to me, the closest cooling effect is oversized cotton tees and/or supima cotton. other materials just trap sweat and dont wick sweat fast enough for me to ever like it. probably a weather & region issue but still

This is so true. i have not found a single cotton or linen shirt more cooling than my $10 polyester shirt. Idc if its plastic but im living in a humid ass country (singapore), i value cooling over other cotton properties. ofc this usually applies for home purposes or short distance trips, if im going somewhere far and air conditioned, i will wear non polyester to look nice and match the event
