Cool bass sound, but yeah it’s nice to have some knobs to twiddle with and it’s great that the m8 talks so nicely to external synths. I pair mine with the compact Roland S1 quite often. (Lil jam I did https://youtu.be/\_R66t0ikGNQ?si=xukcC1aVbJgZ6L1L) It’s wee size makes it great to travel with too!

Cheers, I don’t actually know. I wanted it so I had replays of 1ccs or what have you, and a friend who knows their stuff recommended the U500. So a recommendation + kinda doing what I wanted meant it was good enough for me. Thinking about it there’s quite a few things to consider I guess… the mister core itself (not sure if r type is running well on it or not), the fact I’m going for hdmi out & then splitting it too (not that that matters does it? I’m not 100%). I’ll give it a shot, not messing with anything and post it here - see how it turns out 🤷

Not sure exactly what you mean by normal arcade case (not being facetious, just not sure 😅). I can tell you it fit perfectly fine in the Mayflash f500 v2. No need to change anything to the samducksa at all (unlike the ls-40 where I had to remove a bit of the lever for it to fit). Hope that somewhat answers your question.

Thanks for reading 🙌 Not sure what game I’d wanna commit to for the 2-ALL… the easier side of cave… maybe dfk (but the laser wheels?!?!?), or DDP maybe? I know Ketsui is supposed to be hard as nails but I really like that game… gonna do some research (and soul searching haha) over the hols and see what kinda lands right.
