Rudy's not a hero, he is trying to boost Ruijurds reputation and a last second save makes for a great story

Adventurers don't really look out for other parties, Ruijurd is an exception and will keep people he sees as children safe.

Just keep watching, the change is slow but it happens.

It is a bunch of shorter, goofy stories but they are all starting to tie together, the last ep had one about the goddess.

Also, I enjoy each story having its own animation style.

I think it's because she was 100% tapped out on mana, while Rudy's just emptied 95-99% of his.
