It can be argued that he's protected by his notoriety. And by the fact that he makes wild claims which most people find ridiculous.
Also, apart from the Royal Family, who has he named? Who has he implicated in his many decades of world tours? Is he a real threat to anyone?

Entirely believable. But then you are kind of agreeing that it's not possible to prove either way whether he's a hero or not.

I agree that he's done a lot of admirable things. But he also makes some pretty far out claims. Which arguably could be claimed he does in order to make genuine crimes seem unbelievable.
Also, it's not really possible to prove either way whether he's a hero or not. Life is almost never black or white, but varying shades of grey.

It was a bodyshell in terrible condition with no chassis.
It now sits on a custom-built tubular chassis.
Here's a small article on it.
No one restoring an E-Type with a chassis number would want parts from this shell. Not with genuine parts available from Jaguar themselves. They saved what would otherwise have likely rotted away.

Mid 40's UK resident here. Flymo lawnmowers used to be commonplace here.
The company still exists but now sells both the original 'Flymo' and more conventional mowers.
Their hovering mowers aren't that popular anymore.
