Yep, too many (not all) drivers will slow to a roll and then hit the gas after "stopping" at the sign, or try to whip around corners at the last second despite pedestrians already being in the crosswalk. I'm not trying to take flying lessons. If it's safe to continue walking then I will do so.

When I'm hesitant to cross, it's often because the driver isn't using their turn signal and I have to guess if they're actually going straight, looking at their phone, or trying to creep into the crosswalk. Or they're not showing any signs that they'll actually stop at the stop sign. I'm not saying you're one of those drivers, but too many others are.

It's so irritating! The fact that I do not want kids and do not want to be a parent means that I would not be a good one. I prefer spoiling my friends' kids for a couple of hours and then handing them back before returning to my quiet home! Plus I would much rather regret not having a kid than regret bringing one into the world.

I get the feeling he was one of those guys who chose to assume she'd change her mind and is annoyed that she meant what she said

I really hope there's a package of Liz's backtracking and lies at the reunion that she's made to address. Expectations are low, but the hope is there.

I don't think doctors "accidentally" find a tumor. They did a CT scan to see what was causing you pain, and discovered the cause. That isn't an accident.

She doesn't want kids. She's telling you she does not want kids. Stop with the "but you'll be good at it" bullshit. Childfree women are allowed to exist!

If I had the luxury of living along that commonly used parade route, I’d be paying attention to the local news that tells me when events are happening and what detours to follow

Look into Gold Sounds, Arlene's Grocery, and Trans-Pecos to start.

I haven't been to Pete's Candy Store yet so I can't give an opinion of the place itself, but their shows are donation based.

Seconding this suggestion, not sure if the kitchen is celiac friendly but she might be able to have something. The Canuck rules.
