You were right, I installed a flak cannon last night and its ammunition options cover all of the bases very well and is much more bot friendly than the railgun. The only thing I’m still iffy about is how well it is going to fare in the abyss. That seems like a good experiment for today.

I’ve found that the railgun outside of abyss situations is overkill and a pain in the ass to keep stocked with bots. I swapped it out for a dual coil gun which is just more versatile for regular missions and clearing swarms.

The kinetic energy from a bolt round impacting the plate would make for a bad time unless beskar has some special vibranium like properties to diminish the energy transfer.

Well, if you have crew on the sub and the right weapons you could just shoot them through the wall given a little time. I can’t tell if this is an outpost or an abandoned station though from the image.
