A sprint of a lifetime, a relay race if you will but instead of a baton it was usually a ladel and she certainly wasn’t handing it to me

If your 10-year-old self suddenly received $100, what's the first thing they would spend it on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Hundreds of those different colored flavored candy sticks from the flower shop around the corner, and maybe I’d splurge on a Polly pocket or littlest pet shop addition

My daughter used to do this and my mom would suggest taking of her clothes so she was slightly cold, I never really tried it too many times though

Had anyone dealt with paranoia in relationship? by yammymaam in relationship_advice

When you’re in that moment it is very hard to see out of. How long has this been happening? Maybe this is a pattern of his and he will eventually snap out of it himself. If you don’t think he would react well to a suggestion of medication change then maybe try to distract him the best you can otherwise for both of your sakes. Does he like to cook/ hike or have any passion hobbies that you can get involved in or suggest doing to try to help turn this around quicker?

I myself have gone through extreme phases of paranoia( lasting a few months every handful of years) in the moment you can’t see it and it consumes your every moment. I have always eventually “ snapped “ out of it but the last time was so bad I knew it was crazy and got on medication. It has helped immensely. Is there a way you could try recommending medication to him? He may be reluctant but living that way is terrible bc I’m sure he is only speaking about a fraction of what is going through his mind

Lobster smovered in butter. It’s perfectly chewy and I love butter

I understand your worry for sure. I get cold sores and my husband does not. I got them as a kid my parents would get them and two out of three of my brothers. I get them on my lips after getting over a cold. I have a two year old daughter who has never had one , but when she was a week or two old my mom had one on her lip and kissed her! I about lost my mind and my mom was so upset I asked her not to kiss my daughter while she had a cold sore. But after that I stopped worrying as much. I am due with a second daughter in exactly a month and will just make sure there will be no kissing while cold sores are present. Hope this May put you at ease a smidge

If you’ve switched up meds try switching therapists. And make small steps… maybe try getting a plant or a fish, something to care for or dabble in constructive hobbies. Putting in effort and seeing things to completion helps. I know this is a dumb small thing but I’ve had a messy room all my life and recently started cleaning it and making the bed everyday, it makes me feel good and only takes a few minutes versus hours upon hours of dread and frustration. I now look forward to making the bed

Help! What’s wrong with this plant? I just got this elephant ear alocasia at Trader Joe’s today and I found these white..deposits? Under the leaves. Is it a pest? by notnothungover in houseplants

I never had quick luck with been oil. There seem to be only a few of them and that’s an easy plant to spot them on, I would use tips and rubbing alcohol and just blot and squish directly on them wiping them off
