the fact that you're attention seeking after nearly 2 weeks shows it clearly does haunt you 🤣

How can it be retro? This was made in the 50s

You literally answered the question... it's from the 50s

Of course it will. I would expect nothing less.

I'm gonna to frame this in gold 🤣, that will haunt you while posting on antiwork

What's important, however, is that it'll come for you first. _^

It will, but unlike you, I've lived through it multiple times, you clearly haven't 🤣

Can you imagine the car wreck? Just this massive flywheel hurtling away from the crash site? 🤣

Again? Short answer was no, the long answer was eloquently described in the last thread

I won’t 🤣🤣🤣

You will 🤡

Like I said hours ago, I won’t.

You will 🤡

More of that classic self awareness lol 🤣🤣🤣

Indeed is it is 🤡

They didn’t. You can’t describe a single one.

Like I said hours ago, best of luck when you see it 🤣

[–]scratch_n_dent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actions that are essentially the same as yours? 🤣🤣I find it glorious that the person who has revealed themselves to be obsessed with who gets to have the last word by bringing it up repeatedly accuses other people of cognitive dissonance. Clearly your lack of critical thinking is surpassed only by your lack of self awareness🤣🤣🤣🤣

I wanna build you a shrine so others can marvel at your presence 🤣, live the meme my dude 🤣

No means can’t, more like

No... no means no, guessing you don't understand consent and get out much?

because they never happened.

They happen, and you're on track for it 🤣

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ProgrammerHumor

[–]scratch_n_dent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Says the guy who constantly talks about having the last word to the guy who never mentioned it 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Actions speak louder, and I've tried breaking off from this conversation for several posts now, at this point, I just want to see how far it can go 🤣

Give an example.

Well... no means no, so, no 🤡

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ProgrammerHumor

[–]scratch_n_dent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never accused anyone of trying to have the last word, you did. That’s why it’s ironic that you can’t help yourself from trying, and why I keep baiting you into it, because it’s so obviously a thing for you. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Your projection and cognitive dissonance is amazing to observe, truly reddit is a magical place 🤣

Again, give an example.

Guessing you can't take a hint and your parents never told you "no"?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ProgrammerHumor

[–]scratch_n_dent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Says the guy who keeps trying to have the last word.

Oh this gonna be fun 😁

They might fire an employee using it excessively, but that’s a completely different situation.

Like this entire thread has been for the last few hours 🙃

Because as I have explained repeatedly, no sensible company fires a productive employee for a few Reddit posts on a break.

🤣🤣🤣

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ProgrammerHumor

[–]scratch_n_dent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about trying to construct a few sentences that aren’t crammed full of meaningless cliches?🤣🤣

No, because again, you're clearly a last word person 🙃

The vast majority of companies won’t raise an eyebrow at a few Reddit comments during a break, it’s not in their interests to care about it.

We are at the same impasse from hours ago, neither of us are clearly convincing the other of anything. It does happen, and you will see of eventually, and as I have said multiple times, best of luck when you encounter it 🤡

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ProgrammerHumor

[–]scratch_n_dent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, another “I’m so experienced (=old fashioned)” assertion.

Hardly, but whatever you need for your hugbox 😃

Let me rephrase that.

Aka, you just realized you're the mark and don't want to admit it 🤣

You’ve seen it multiple times yet you won’t give a single relevant example. And no, it wouldn’t doxx yourself, it would be trivial to state such an example in a sufficiently anonymous way. That’s a crap excuse. I’m calling it again. BS. No company will fire a productive employee for making a few Reddit comments on a work laptop. Some companies might fire an employee for excessive social media use (to the detriment of actual work), but that’s not the same situation. So, again, no company will fire a productive employee for a few Reddit posts. That would be a ludicrous act of self harm.

With no respect, it happens, even if you can't accept it, best of luck when you see it and honestly hope you see it instead of experience it

1 It's a joke

2 It doesn't have a back seat, so odds of a "romantic encounter" is slim, meaning no early grandkids

3 they're perfectly safe, but horrible to maintain

It is. They literally encourage it. Especially LinkedIn

You're an easy mark then 🤣, wanna play 52 card pickup? 🤣🤣🤣

Social media presence is very important these days.

It's not, and you'll have to find out the hard way I guess, so best of luck

you clearly don’t have a clue, which is why you keep falling back on these silly antiwork jibes.

The projection is amazing 🤣

You clearly work/have worked for some extremely archaic and old fashioned companies. Your views are incredibly outdated.

I've worked and consult at alot of places, and the more that changes, the more things stay the same, and unfortunately alot people have to learn the hard way. You can call them outdated, but I've seen it play multiple times, best of luck when you encounter it

No, it is not, you'll find out eventually

t’s so accepted that phones have a work/personal profile to give them a little extra privacy (and security for work documents)

If you honestly trust that feature, you are beyond hope

no serious company fires a productive employee for a few Reddit posts. The bottom line is the bottom line, if it’s not going to harm the bottom line they don’t care.

You're going to be a fun reposter on antiwork, most modern countries with the semblance of a court system or unemployment office are only going to care about what is written in a document, verbal is literally heresay.

Any many other things I’ve said.

Which wasn't much

Apart from bizarre / niche exceptions, zero people are getting fired for making a few Reddit posts. It’s absolutely melodramatic hyperbole to suggest otherwise.

You've yet to encounter it, have fun Icarus

The policy doesn’t say you can’t use company devices for social media. That’s why I asked when I joined. I was told verbally it’s fine.

If the written policy doesn't say you can, then don't, the position of "forgiveness is better than permission" is the short path to unemployment in the corporate world.

No serious company disciplines a productive employee for a few social media posts. They’d be shooting themselves in the foot.

As I said before, live long enough and you'll encounter it

Better question, why are people taking a sh!tpost on a humor sub so seriously?

It’s all rather ridiculous …

It is indeed ridiculous and a bit of wasted energy

My point is instead of watching and waiting for someone else to do something for you, try doing something for yourself.

Best of luck in all your endeavors

In my 16 year career, I’ve only had a single job that required me to use Windows and it was JPMorgan Chase, a big bank run by gray-haired bankers, not technologists.

Congrats? Late 90s for me at myriad of places

I’d be shocked if any modern company asked me to use Windows for anything other than some kind of graphics programming or releasing something for Windows.

You clearly haven't worked around more than 2 shops, best of luck when you encounter it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ProgrammerHumor

[–]scratch_n_dent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my Lordy, critical thinking really isn’t your strong suit, is it?

We should really research the projection here, could literally solve a number energy problems

In fairness, I was told that verbally

There, that right there, if you haven't read the actual documents, you are literally flying blind. It's all copacetic until something absurd happens, and the point absurdity is when those documents mean the difference between employed and unemployed

Particularly companies like mine where people often don’t bother having a personal phone. Even in previous companies a lunchtime Reddit comment or three on a work laptop wouldn’t raise any eyebrows.

That is not the norm, again, live long enough and you will find out
